Anyone have an example of a good web based formmail that hides email
addresses from spam-crawlers?

I think that cgi mail forms can hide the destination E-mail address.
However, I see attempts to access non-existent scripts as such, which
suggests that hacks exist.
In personally use a form with JavaScript with a low-priority E-mail address
in the source code.

I got away from most forms because I didnt want to have to worry about
someone spamming from it.
Also I got spammed via my web form before and the ISP refused to do a thing
even though I had it setup to grab the IP of the sender. Their IP blocks
went into IPTables right after I emailed them and told them so.

Uh, could you expand on that? The idea of an email form with a hidden
email address is to prevent spam from being sent to you. While there
are pros and cons to it from a user's point of view, it avoids giving
spambots more email addresses to send spam to.
With a multi-recipient form I once set up, the instructions specified
what not to do in order to prevent people from abusing the form. Are
you saying that this problem can happen with all forms? And that
there's no way to prevent it? That doesn't sound correct to me.
Are you suggesting using an email form with the email address
available to spambots instead?

I suspect he meant using a hidden input field in the form.
