Need web hosting recommendation for social networking webs..

I am creating a type of social networking/online community website and
I am not sure where to go for hosting. My website is created using php
and MySQL, so I need a hosting service that supports this. Also, I need
to be able to create email addresses at my domain name.

I would like the service to be able to handle up to 100,000 hits per
month and if necessary be able to scale up. Not sure how much bandwith
that would translate to. People would be uploading files such as
pictures, but no other large files would be uploaded/downloaded. I am
new to web development, so any receommendationswould be greatly
appreciated.
