Hi All,

for a start up business, 100 products (3 photos each), planning on
using PHP and Mysql + cube cart + high number of visitors due to
social networking sites (which means high bandwidth)

based on the above, which hosting type would you recommend? and why
please?

also if you have a similar type of website, could you please share
with us the url? and the hosting company name? this way i will go
check it out and see how fast it is? and if it's worth looking into Smile

many thanks for ur help

How much is "high bandwidth"? And do you think the social networking
sites are going to drive traffic to you? Probably not as much as you think.

I've found most sites like yours start out pretty low on the needs.
Often there is an initial spike which lasts maybe a month or two as
people check it out, but then traffic drops off to a more stable figure.

You probably can get along fine with a shared hosting account.
Eventually you might need to go to a VPS, but that's a lot more work.
