Post subject: vBulletin Question

Can anyone who has vBulletin tell me if turning off signatures and
avatars wipes all signatures and avatars?

I need to cut down on load to the database for short periods and
turning off avatars and sigs is one of the things I'd like to
experiment with.

No, it just doesn't display them... Or allow new users to set them in
the first place.
