What's the name (& URL) of the MS utility that installs on top of IIS 5
for helping with low memory & Web service instability? I used to find it on
the TechNet Web site, but now I can't. Once installed, it is a GUI app that
could be configured to key in on different parameters such as: the number of
ASP requests, memory usage or number of Web service crashes. There's a
memory leak in some of the ASP pages on a server and is causes pages not to
be displayed. The developers are working on correcting this, but in the
mean time I thought I might "treat the symptoms".
TIA
Ray

Ray,

This isn't a Microsoft utility but it's designed to do what
you're talking about.

If your server is crashing or hanging you might want to
download our ReJuvin8 tool. It's designed to detect then
restart or reboot. It doesn't fix root problems but it
does give you some breathing room while you are addressing
them. ReJuvin8 also gives you email and telephone alert
messages of what it's doing. Use it free for the first
15-days.

ReJuvin8 has both an automatic detect mode and a custom one.
In the auto mode you make all the settings by pointing and
clicking. This will handle most applications.

In the custom mode you can include heartbeat synch
files which give you absolute detection that certain functions
are working. ReJuvin8 includes tools and instructions to help
you do this. Need to get going immediately? We will contract
to set it up for you at your site.
