Help. I have been using Frontpage 2000 and I am getting feed up with
the quirks. Can someone please recommend an alternative software? I
don't need anything fancy. My sites are pretty plain. I do use the
shared border feature in FP and that is the feature that is now causing
me the most trouble. The host server has FP extension installed. I
upload via WS-FTP. The publish feature on FP has never worked properly
for me. Thanks in advance for your help.

Any software will let you use shared borders, and is alot less processor
intensive. All you need to do is use SSI (server side includes). Just put a
SSI tag where you want other content to be included in each page. Its
actually more powerfull than shared borders n that it doesn't limt you to
the sides of the pages. Of just publish the site locally with shared borders
using FrontPage and ftp the pages up.
