Post subject: Is it possible to secure the Printers (IPP) site using SSL?
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

We would like to use IPP for printing from non-domain joined workstations to
domain printers shared from a Windows Server 2003 server. We have installed
IIS, and Internet Prining, and everything works as expected.

My question is, can the Printers site be secured using SSL, and will the
clients still be able to print using HTTPS? None of the documentation that I
can find indicates whether this is possible or not.

Can anybody definitively answer this?
