Post subject: Asking to save fpadmdll.dlll when opening Sharepoint Administrator
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

I've installed/uninstalled several times FP2002/IIS/Sharepoint to no avail.
I can ping to localhost and can browse directory.

Here's my latest log file:
20:02:07 192.168.1.101 GET /_sharepoint/fpadmdll.dll 304
20:07:43 192.168.1.101 GET /_sharepoint/fpadmdll.dll 200

I think I've set my NTFS permissions correctly. I'm running XP Media
Edition. My computer crashed recently and had to reinstall everything. Prior
to my crash I had no problems setting up Sharepoint Administrator to utilize
FP2002 extensions. So not sure what has changed. All recent updates via
MS/office updates are current. I've tried to search online for help no
success. Please help. Thanks

Hi,

Open IIS Manager, and locate the _sharepoint virtual directory. Right-click
and choose Properties. On the Directory tab, ensure that "Scripts and
Executables" are set as the Execute permissions.

Cheers
Ken
