Hello....

I am seeing a issue with my IIS server and ASP pages.

I recently brought a new server up. It is running Windows 2003 Web
Edition. I have about 125 sites that are on this server. For some
reason IIS will still respond but the ASP sites will not load. Now all
of the other basic Frontpage or HTML pages are working fine. Now if I
restart IIS then it fixes them. However, I cannot restart IIS daily. I
looked into the logs and it isnt saying anything. Anyone have any
suggestions?

In and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Donnie

We need to know more specifically what "ASP sites will not load" means. Are
there error messages?

Well there arent any error messages... That is the problem! The
regular html sites work just fine. It is the customers that are using
..asp extensions that it hangs on. The logs in the system show nothing.
That is why I am stumped. There have been some other erros that have
cam up for FP stuff and google is my best friend. But I havnt got
anywhere this time.

Thanks
Donnie

Running Access databases? Have you applied the Jet Bug fix?

Yes.. They have been loaded.... I thought that same thing

It just happened again this morning... I am still in question as to
what could possibly making it do this. The html only sites are loading
just fine. It is something to do with the ASP engine. Is that
something that can be reinstalled?

Thanks for the community help

Donnie

Can you move the asp sites into a new memory pool? Could be bad code on one=
of the asp sites. You can see what sites are running then disconnect them=
one by one to see if it comes back using IISTrace.
