I couldn't restart IIS server

Basin,
I tried to use command "iisreset.exe".
The following is the result:
Attempting stop...
Internet services successfully stopped
Attempting start...
(Then cursor is hanging here)
(I see a error message "The RPC server is unavailable")


I right-click on "my computer" and select "Manage". Then under "Service and
Applications"
-> Internet Information Services -> Default Web Site, I right-click on
Default Web Site, then I can stop this web server. But I couldn't start the
web server. I seems I get the same result as command "iisreset.exe".

So far I did not see any event log related to IIS.

Please advise.
