[IIS 5.0] iisreset.exe fails with error 0x425

My nightly "iisreset.exe /restart" Scheduled Task failed last night with error 425:

"Nightly IIS restart.job" (iisreset.exe)
  Finished 9/24/2003 5:45:24 AM
  Result: The task completed with an exit code of (425).

This left my clients' sites *stopped*. Ack!

I've edited the task as follows "iisreset.exe /RESTART /REBOOTONERROR /TIMEOUT:100" to lower the risk associated with such an error.

But I still need to explain to the client the reason for the error. Can anyone point me in the direction of a list of exit codes for iisreset.exe and their meanings?

It is possible that the reset conflicted with another service and as a
result was unable to start the IIS related service(s).
What type of computer are you using? (Dell, Compaq)
Are there any events in the event viewer?
Is there a Dr. Watson log? If so, is there anything in the log from the
time of the behavior?
If you schedule the reset at a different time do you get the same behavior?
