That depends on your contract, and the laws in your country. Get
yourself some actual legal advice .

Be carefull.... Verbal contracts are only as good as the contractee's
collective memories.....I've done jobs based on a verbal contract before
today, only to fin at a later date that the client has a completely
different idea of what work I agreed to do, or how much they agreed to pay
me.....The problem is, once the work's done, how do you prove otherwise?<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
