I am so sorry to bother you with my site again but I am pulling my hair out
and can't think of anywhere else to turn.

When I view my charity site - http://www.orangutan-appeal.org.uk/ in a new
IE page and choose any of the menu items on the left frame, I lose the frame
and the new page is displayed without the menu. Now, if I visit my site by
following the link on our sister site - http://www.orangutang-appeal.dk/
(our link is top on the links page), a new IE window opens and I have no
problems with my menu frame.

If the above makes sense to anyone can they please please tell me what the
bloody hell is going on or point out any errors in the way I have set this
up. And yes I know a lot of people here don't like frames.

Thanks.

So is there something wrong with my copy of IE that only changes after
viewing the sister site first? I am running XP and all is up to date. I also
don't have any viewing problems if I use Opera so I know it has something to
do with IE.

Don't you just _love_ the times when you stress out over your code for
hours on end, and then it turns out there was nothing wrong, and it was
something to do with the browser?

It's fine here in IE6, Mozilla and Opera 7.11.

So what the hell is wrong with my version of IE6? I will obviously need to
ask in a Microsoft new group

Post subject: The answer, but i don't know why [Login to view extended thread Info.]

Following my post and everyone else being able to view the site properly, I
looked at my set up.

The answer is if you view www.bbc.co.uk before viewing mine
http://www.orangutan-appeal.org.uk/ the frame doesn't work. I had bbc.co.uk
as the home page. If I start a new page which doesn't default to the bbc
site and try my site all is working ok. So the question is what does the bbc
site do to my IE6 session to cause this?
