Looking for people to build non-profit website (long)

Hi All,

Although I believe this is not the right forum to publish and after
looking through hundreds of links on the internet, I decided to just go
for it here.

I am thinking about setting up a website dedicated to animal shelters in
the world who specifically shelter rabbits. Don't you start laughing now

Millions of rabbits are dumped during summertime. And most would not
survive it out there in the wild. Luckily there are animal shelters
taking care of rescuing those unfortunate rabbits. I would like to do
something for these shelters. I already pay a rabbitshelter once a month
for their good work and do webmaster a site (Netherlands) for a local
rescue center - although at the moment their provider has blocked the
upload possibilities from outside their system and I am not able to
update their site - no money for hosting company yet (:
But still feel the need to do something!

I was thinking about a website containing links to all shelter website
available (mmh, as many I would be able to find ofcourse), devided by
country and/or state. Where once a week a bunny will be published as
bunny desparately seeking a good home and more of that stuff (stories by
rabbit rescue centers, cute pictures of bunnies, well you name it).

Just to promote that people first go to a shelter to look for a bunny
(and not directly to a petshop!).

Now I am looking for other people who want to help me or partner-up
with. The site probably needs some programming (links database and so
on). I am only familiar with basic html (I work with Golive for Mac) and
don't know anything about PHP or MySQL.
So, real animal lovers with computer skills, here is your chance.
(and if you just feel the need to do something for free, you are most
welcome too).

Okay. I won't laugh because I have a problem with people dumping pets
in the wild or the streets or anywhere else.

I'd be more impressed if somebody figured out that the surplus unwanted
bunnies could probably solve hunger for the homeless. Num num. Rabbit
with marinara sause and polenta!

Pardon my insensitivity but you can get anyone to build any website ...
they don't have to care about your cause.
