Have I done too much? I am dying for specific comments, as my site is
slowly withering away.

Way down deep in the middle of the congo, torlissa and a hippo took an apricot
a guava and a mango. Stuck it with the others and he danced a dainty tango...

Pretty nice, visually... but:

The pics with just text should be .png or .gif and they'll look better too

The alt tags are all screwed on the naviagtion.

The site is quite hard to navigate too, there seems to be no order. I would try
reorganising it if you can be bothered.

Really nice products though Smile

nice look...love the furniture...it all falls apart when I make the text
big enough to read so I'll try and have another look tomorrow...the mark
up is an utter mess which won't be helping at all in SEO terms

have you any stats on how long it takes for the items to become firewood
or for the parents to beat their child to death for making so much
noise?

I am using dreamweaver 3.0 and setting the text to pixels, trying to
fix into those boxes. It seems to be wrong on some machines. I wonder
if there is a better way.....

yes

set the boxes in em units so that they are resized according to the text
size is the ideal...I haven't had a chance to have a thorough look
yet...there should be several ways to get the sme sort of effect with a
lot more flexibilty

This is great, as I have been struggling with this for a while now.
This is a heavily graphic site, and we all know that this hampers the
flexibilty. I am confused as to why the type can vary so much in size
(in respect to the box) when I have the text set to pixels. Shouldn't
it always look the same then? The text was swelling out of the box on
an windows explorer with the text scaling set to small... go figure?

I think em's would be difficult to pull off with all of the rigid
jpegs mixed in.

redesign so the font size changing a reasonable amount doesn't effect
the layout or the layout automatically readjusts.

the problem in this case is that it's a three column centred layout...not
necessarily trivial for a beginner to get looking sharp

it's actually a nice look and right for the products...it just needs to be
executed a lot more efficiently
