As far as scheduling, I can only speculate whether it would work...

However, IIS 6.0 shipped with a command-line tool called IIsBack.vbs. This
utility is designed to do backups as you listed here along with doing
restores if necessary. If you use the /list switch you can also review the
currently listed backups for that system. This tool works either locally or
remotely and in my opinion is the best method for doing backups from a
script
For further detail (and to save space), I would either attend or download
the webcast that is being presented tomorrow on IIsBack and IIsCnfg ...
