Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

i don't know why, but now everytime i try to access a webpage on the server
it shows me a login dialog box.

i enter my credentials, but nothing.

who can i put the initial state?

The file you are trying to access, or one of the files (images etc.) this
file references, does it have proper NTFS settings? The anonymous user
account should be allowed read access, if you want anonymous access.

If you do not want anonymous access, and this question is instead about
how to automatically log on, you will have to make sure that the website
is in the Intranet Zone (in Internet Explorer).
