hi all, have a great problem with testing apache2

I use a regularly XP-Home Configuration. A Firewall "ZoneAlarm" is running.
The XP's own Internet Firewall is active as well.

After i edit the file hosts and added "127.0.0.1 localhost" and tried
testing. i got the message:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable
to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them
of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may
have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

So i checked the system/actions log shows nothing - like the errorlog of the
apache.

can anyone help?

mike

It means that the server is running but there are problems with
the configuration. Use apachectl configtest or httpd -t to debug
the installation.
