No counter or statistics package can give an accurate count of visitors.
Also, you need to know how "viewers" is defined. That number probably
means less than you think it does. I don't look at my stats very often
anymore.

site, 1000 visitors does not matter as much as how much money are you
making. That is the only stat I pay much attention to anymore on my site.

Please don't bother. It isn't likely to help, and cluttering your own
site with outbound links can only hurt. If your writing is good enough,
people will link to it. If your writing isn't that good, you don't
deserve the links.
