Don't use a Web broswer to upload your images. Use FTP instead, and
ensure you send them in "binary mode".

Hi matt

thanks for taking the time to answer this for me - however, you didnt
answer the questeion. Until Yahoo groups and Ebay allow me ftp access
to upload my photos, i am afraid i may have to stick using my browser,
so if anyone can actually answer the question asked, as opposed to not
answering it, it would be greatfully received<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

octet-stream shouldn't allow any form of transcoding. Files should not be
corrupted by it (the only problems might be in text files which have
different formats on UNIX/Microsoft/Apple systems).
