Hi,
Jerry that is a Moronic answer to a Question posted at a "FORUM" you do know
what a Forum is for ???
It's where you post a Question in hopes someone can help !!!
Jerry...mo·ron (noun)1. a person who is notably stupid or lacking in good
judgment.
2. Psychology. a person of borderline intelligence in a former
classification of mental retardation, having an intelligence quotient of 50
to 69.

Well your top posting for a start.
BTW the OP was trying to post HTML code, not a question and this is
not a forum anyway, it's usenet.
+ the OP did not ask a question that could easily be answerd as he did
not provide a decent enough example of what he or she was trying to
do.

Actually Jerry.
It looks like the OP wants to add HTML code to a post on some online
forum.
Which means (obviously) that HTML needs to be enabled on / in the
forum software itself. Otherwise I am thinking that adding HTML to
posts might be a bit hard.

Yep. And USENET is NOT A FORUM.
And if you weren't such an idiot, you would understand that.
So - can YOU answer his question? Or maybe my answer was an attempt to
steer him to the BEST PLACE to get his answer.
Stoopid noob.

Yep, which is why I suggested he ask in the vbulletin forum. They'll be
able to tell him if it's possible or not, and if so, how to do it.

Hi,
The OP was not trying to post HTML he was giving you an Example of the "TAG"
I found enough information in both his title & the decription of his problem
to answer it...
However I don't use Vbulletin...IF I did then I would be able to help him.
I would NOT reply to his post with a Snide Remark like Jerry did, he is what
we call a
"TROLL" he has nothing to offer except a needless reply.

Hi,
No I can NOT answer the question...So I would not have replied. A Reply by a
person using Vbulletin is needed, not "Here's a unique idea. Why not ask
vbulletin?"
that is why the OP is here.
Forum:
Any discussion group accessible through a dial-in BBS (e.g. GEnie, CI$), a
mailing list, or a Usenet newsgroup (see network, the). A forum functions
much like a bulletin board; users submit postings for all to read and
discussion ensues.

YEs, *we* all do. This however is not a "FORUM" it's a news group.
One not specifically dealing with vBulletin like the vBulletin "FORUMS" are.

Sounds like a good fit for you there Jim. Did you find that yourself
or did someone point it out to you ?

Which is why Jerry sent him to vBulletin, no matter what the tone was.

"An Internet forum is a web application for holding discussions and
posting user generated content. Internet forums are also commonly
referred to as Web forums, message boards, discussion boards,
(electronic) discussion groups, discussion forums, bulletin boards,
fora (the Latin plural) or simply forums. The terms "forum" and
"board" may refer to the entire community or to a specific sub-forum
dealing with a distinct topic. Messages within these sub-forums are
then displayed either in chronological order or as threaded
discussions.
Such forums perform a function similar to that of Usenet newsgroups
and the dial-up bulletin board systems that were numerous in the 1980s
and 1990s. Early web-based forums date back as far as 1996. A sense of
virtual community often develops around forums that have regular
users. Technology, computer games and/or video games, fashion,
religion, and politics are popular areas for forum themes, but there
are forums for a huge number of different topics. Internet slang and
image macros popular across the internet are abundant and most widely
used in internet forums."
It seems that USENET can be defined as a Forum after all ... >> Stay informed about: Please help, about Vbulletin ? |
