Regarding hate emails

Must be an older thread I haven't read yet ...
One thing about writers ... they can spot an mo and
track it better than a bloodhound. People have their
quirks and it shows in their writing: grammer,
vernacular, punctuation, etc. I always trust my
instincts in these things

The curious thing is that I have yet to even one hate mail with the
contents of my site. I even had one mother thank me for my site.
Unfortunately it didn't do any good for that mother. She found my site
trying to find out more about the drug that killed her daughter.

yet when I was running a suicide prevention site I used to get one or two
a week...I don't think hate mail is anything to do with the actual content
of a site...it is largely down to the likely mental state of the people
visiting the site...in your case that means that site visitors are
searching for information about drugs they are probably more sensible than
most, you weren't getting the people who fly off the handle for no
reason...Matt probably gets an average number...and a suicide prevention
site tends to attract a greater than average number of people who are
hanging on to sanity by the skin of their teeth (if that)

It is fairly obvious from the search strings that people use to find
my sites that a significant percentage are concerned parents, medical
people dealing with DXM abuse patients, etc. And likely a good chunk of
people just curious about what is in the medicine they are taking for
their cold, and find out a lot about DXM they were unaware of. My sites
dominate pretty much every search engine for "dextromethorphan."

Is that a direct quote? "Irrefutable" means that what you wrote was an
