Got a weird problem and just can't figure it out. After I
installed IIS, I went to Computer Management to to view
the server settings. As soon as I click the + to drop-
down "Services and Applications" the computer locks up.
I've un-installed and reinstalled a number of time with no
luck. I have 3 OS's on this computer. 98 2nd Ed.,
Windows 2000, and Windows 2000. Yes I have two Window
2000 installed on this computer. I've booted up in the
other install of Windows 2000, installed IIS and it works
fine. I know some of you are think, well use that install
of 2000. Well, all my software is on that install of
2000. My question is, how can I get a good clean install
of IIS in this OS and/or is there any known reason this
lock-up is in this area of the administration tools? It
appears to be running, but I just can't administer or
adjust settings.
Thanks in advance.
