Post subject: questions to ask and find out to prepare for load
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

In order to ensure we have the right number of Web servers so we can scale
quickly, what are some data points I should collect such as incoming
requests,etc.

Also would be nice to know where I can obtain those info as well

Thanks

Archived from groups: per prev. post (more info?)

Your IIS Log files should give you a fair amount of usage stats to get
started. I would prefer to use a Log Analyzser to generate the reports for
analysis. Any custom requirements and I would use IIS LogParser from
Microsoft.
