exe fails to download

Post subject: exe fails to download
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

I am probably missings something simpe but an attempt to download an .exe
from my server results in a page cannot be found where as download a .zip
works fine. As far as I can see the execute permisions are script only.
Win2000 server

Any one got any clues?

Have you installed URLScan, and denies exe-extension?
