http://www.theregister.co.uk/2004/01/15/get_your_name_name_domain/

- in the past you could only buy www.joe.bloggs.name

but now you can buy www.jbloggs.name

I was thinking of buying it and having my email adress as
mail DeleteThis @jbloggs.name (or message DeleteThis @jbloggs.name etc)

Does this look good or bad? Any opinions would be gratefully
appreciated.

(Is this just a way for whoever owns .name to make a lot of money? I
know that .com is the only really decent domain name to choose).

Don't agree...

in the UK .co.uk is just as good...
..org 's are decent (not as good as .com)

I'll consider it, maybe for the family photo album, and maybe hand out a few
email addresses to relatives.

Godaddy only charge $9.99 pa.

Its a play on the fact that my thoughts actually weigh very little...
roughly translated IT consultnats thoughts are potentially worthless
(something I often believe)

Anyhow - <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://locusmeus.com" target="_blank">http://locusmeus.com</a> Excellent website, love the kids pages - made
me smile! despite being a cynical old .... something ...
