Hi There

I am monitoring the Not Found Error/Sec counter in IIS (Using MOM) and would
like to know if it is possible to get the name of the resource that is
causing the erorr .ie.filenotfound.aspx?

Thanks

Sam

Hi Sam,

We can only retrieve the 404 records and their page info from IIS
log. The Log Parser utility can be used to query and filter the log
files' data. The lastest version of Log Parser is included in IIS6.0
resource kit tools:

IIS 6.0 Resource Kit Tools
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&familyi
d=56fc92ee-a71a-4c73-b628-ade629c89499

The following link contains some sample queries and reference:

I hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any problem.
Best regards,

Use a web log analyser, and look at your IIS logs.

Microsoft has the Log Parser Tool,

or you can use Analog (www.analog.cx)

Cheers
