Post subject: The database connection named "Herbs" is undefined.
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

I have a fresh install of W2K Adv Svr.
I installed Server Extensions 2002 and published a web called Herbs to it.
This is my DC and am running a DNs on it as well.
It is also my Exchange 2000 server. (This part functions properly)

anyway, Herbs uses a mdb database. When I pull up the web from this server, I get the following error:

Database Results Error
The database connection named 'Herbs' is undefined.

This problem can occur if:
* the connection has been removed from the web
* the file 'global.asa' is missing or contains errors
* the root folder does not have Scripting permissions enabled
* the web is not marked as an Application Root

One or more form fields were empty. You should provide default values for all form fields that are used in the query.

In FP I went into web settings - Database Tab - for connection type I've tried (File or Folder in current web & system Data Source on Web Server) and I've clicked verify on gotten the check mark.

I have also gone to ODBC in Admin Tools and Added the database file to the 'System DSN' tab. I still get this message.

Can anyone help???
