Archived from groups: alt>ecommerce (more info?)

I've found the following information from WorldPay about setting up an
account with them. I found it via a Google search and it was on
WorldPay's Click and Build page so I wanted to check if it was the same
price for an internet merchant account etc. without the Click and Build.

Here are the details that I found :

"Charges for WorldDirect, the WorldPay internet merchant account, include:
* Setup fee of £200.00.
* Monthly fee of £30.00 (first 6 months paid in advance)
* Credit card charges of 4.5%
* UK issued debit cards (Switch/Solo and Visa Debit) £0.50."

So in the first year I can expect to pay £560 to WorldPay before
actually selling anything. In subsequent years, assuming the pricing
structure doesn't change, I can expect to pay £360 to WorldPay before
selling anything.

If anyone has set up an account with them recently and could confirm
this then I would be very grateful.

Thanks,

Jimmy.

This sounds about right. Why not contact them on the phone and ask them
direct - contact details at <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://tinyurl.com/4lj69." target="_blank">http://tinyurl.com/4lj69.</a> I've found their
advice line fairly helpful in the past.
