Hi

Just wondering if anyone can advise on a reliable ASP.net hosting
provider, i am looking at hosing a site with a heavy backend load so i
would like a reliable provider with good backbone preferably UK based.

Requirements are:

Requirements:
ASP.Net supported,
Database Connectivity Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Database
200Mb space or greater,
SSL 128bit
4Gb bandwidth or greater,
Microsoft FrontPage 2003
Good support facility High uptime and fast response is critical.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I have been advised to go with server centre who offer a silver
package http://www.servercentre.net/silvernet.asp
can anyone advise if this is a good hosing company and advice on their
packages.

thanks in advance

Leo Dade

I don't know if they do MS SQL but I've been using Valueweb for a while and
they are a great ISP, I've had almost zero downtime and they have good
support and alot of nice features. There is a link to them at the top of my
links page: <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.tequila-stuff.com/links.asp" target="_blank">http://www.tequila-stuff.com/links.asp</a>

Gee ... how many times you think you'll get to post the same link to
your site over and over again???

Let me give you a little AWW tip: Keep your referrals to your own site
in your signature or you'll be quickly labeled as a spammer and bring
out the pack mentality. Otherwise, you can keep recommending valueweb
to your heart's content.

Yes very good, I use them for nearly all my domains, great support and no
real downtime that I have spotted...

ServerCentre and TitanHost are the ONLY two companies I will happily use for
ecommerce I have been let down so many times

One peice of advice do NOT use your own email address in a newsgroup like
that, you will get a stupid amount of spam as a result.

Spammer? I answered a direct question about hosting. Granted clicking my
link would get me a referral fee which may bother some people, but you can
always avoid that by going here: <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.valueweb.com" target="_blank">http://www.valueweb.com</a>

That's better, thanks. The norm in this newsgroup is that honesty is
