My development system runs Windows XP Pro and IIS. I am developing web
sites with ASP.Net and have noticed that my local IIS system is
serving images very slowly. I tried http://localhost and
http://127.0.0.1 and there is no difference in the speed...slow either
way.

Anybody got any tips on what to look for?

Thanks,
Jeff

5.1 has a connection limit of 10.

You can easily reach that with one user visiting one page if you have lots
of images or JS files or something.

When you say "slow", you should be VERY SPECIFIC. Slow could mean that only
a few files are being sent at a time, or that your CPU is pegged due to
spyware or the disk is full or something....

Does it work fast across the network? Do the files load quickly when you
view the folder via windows explorer?<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
