Hello,

I have an IIS 6.0 test server with several websites and the developers want
WebDav.

I have enabled WebDav and have given total control on the website in SS and
via NTFS. The wwwroot folder however seems to keep a property of read only
and I can't get rid of that.
I 've tried blocking inheritance etc ... but I can get rid of it.

Web dav functions in the way that I can see the content but I can not drag
an drop. Folders or files.

Any Ideas?

Thx

Hello David,

What do you mean that the metabase property keeps "ready only".

Does that mean that you cannot make changes to the Home Directory section
and add, Write, Directory browsing?

Can you do this on any web site? Virtual Directory?

When does it change back?

What if you make the change using ADSUTIL?

Are you allowing direct metabase editing?

Thank you,
