Web server asks for login details- on some web pages?

I have an existing web server that I have inherited. It has a main web page,
which works fine. I recently setup a forum using phpBB software, in a sub
folder called "Forums".

When I try to access the forum, http://www.nhds.com/forums/index.php, I get
a login dialog. Why and how do I stop it?

I do not get the login dialog when I go to http://www.nhds.com.

Open IIS manager

Highlight the "forums" object
Right click & goto properties
Click the security tab
Check enable anonymous access
uncheck basic authentication
Click ok
