Looks like kerberos is not available? Or did Active directory for some

I've had that once.
There are tools for LDAP that (ldp) that make analyzes of your domain
controler and help to fix it. NTDSUtil.exe is the tool you might try
(Support Tools Directory from the resource kit)...
or something obscure like the TCP/IP config is incorrect so your member
server, cannot find a valid domain controler using the (active) DNS?
