Unable to display internet site, while intranet site works..

Hi,

I am running IIS 5 on Windows 2000 Server. I host my site locally - DSL
service provider as my ISP, domain is registered, as well as CNames and A
records configured correctly. I also have a Netgear DSL router configured
to what I think is correct.

Here is the problem:

My website, both internal and external, stopped working at all. So I
uninstalled/reinstalled IIS, and now only my intranet works. Checking my
site over the internet doesn't work at all, i.e. both via IP as well as
domain name.

Under my Netgear router, is the following:

Use Static IP Address
IP Address - my static IP
IP Subnet Mask - 255.255.255.0
Gateway IP Address - IP as defined by my ISP

Domain Name Server (DNS) Address
Get Automatically From ISP
Use These DNS Servers
Primary DNS - as defined by my ISP
Secondary DNS - as defined by my ISP

Additionally, under my website properties under IIS, my IP address is (All
Unassigned).

Please help; I can provide more information as needed!

When I had a similar problem it was because I had my AD Domain named the
same as my web domain name.
Apparently thats a no-no. I could get to my web site by using www.domain.com
but not domain.com.
Not sure its related but there it is FWIW
