Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

When I use a UNC path for a virtual directory within IIS
(properties of my website)i.e.

\\ifw9bct-int1\sites\intranet.fws.gov\bct\

I get a file not found error. However when I change the
directory on this computer within the properties of IIS
It works fine.

Something is odd here, can anyone help?

D.

Did you specify the correct credentials in virtual directory properties?
Anyway, this may be a sign that you're logging into your server with
credentials which don't have access to a remote box.
