Probably a bit off topic since Im willing to pay???
But------I don't want to pay alot.

Im up for renewal and when I do,
Id like to transfer my domain name, at names4ever, and where I host it, at
50megs, so it is altogether using one package.
Name/host together type deal.
Any suggestions on a webhost that will transfer them both?
Would appreciate it as Ive another website coming up for re-newal in March
with the same dilemna.
Thanks,

I'm sure there are oodles of firms which would jump on the chance but not
knowing exactly what facilities you are using, it makes life awkward.
I can think of a number of hosting services I'm using but few of them do
the domains (and to be honest I would never trust a single firm with both
aspects - if the hosting is rubbish or damaged in a hurricane and offline
for a week, how can I reach their control panel to do a transfer away ?)
Although I have domains hosted under a reseller account from Hostroute,
and have registered domains with another firm under the same umbrella, I
know the handling is quite separate for my needs, but here are some firms
I know offer hosting and domain registration...
Hostroute.com, Hostway.com, offer both hosting and domain registration, as
does AffordableHost.com (with a sister brand doing domain registrations),
GoDaddy.com, um dotster.com, registerfly.com and you'll see a few thousand
others reselling Go Daddy services but under the Wild West Domains arm).
1and1.com (which I'd tend to avoid, based on their policies like charging
a year's service up front, not showing sales tax and having rather awkward
transfer handling, when I was with them!)
Whether they would meet your needs is another matter. Also try newsgroups
alt.webhosting or alt.paidwebhosting if your news server has them. Or
try <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.budgetweb.com/budgetweb" target="_blank">www.budgetweb.com/budgetweb</a> and <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.webhostingtalk.com" target="_blank">www.webhostingtalk.com</a> for some
suitable hosting... Good luck.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: Transfer Domain and Hosting to One Package?? |

I can tell you're "recommending" a resellerspanel.com reseller. And for all
I know, you may be recommending yourself, which does about the same as Steve
Ballmer saying Microsoft is good and Linux is crap.
Now you have 2 choices.
1. Advertize again and be reported to your ISP as well as getting your
account shut down.
2. Apologize to this free webhosting newsgroup (without typing the URL
once).
One might save the little decency you have left, even though you're already
off to a bad start. The other can and will result in you losing money.
Negative first-impressions stick around a whole lot longer.

thanx for the tip about resellers panel.com from now on I will go straight
tru them instead of anyone els... way cheaper than what I paid. second, u
may wanna read all other messages on this and other freewebhosting or
webhosting groups u will see another dude that also as u said "advertized"
even though It may be the same case as mine with a resellerspanel.com with a
higher rate than the one I paid for mine, which is the reason I put in their
address in the first place.
now if i am not mistaken u were one to give addresses of websites and
reccomend them here.... and lastly... read the first fuckinjg message of
this thread the guy asked for a paying site, so why dont u mind your own
business???
