Post subject: Syncing phone with Exchange (Proxied through Apache)
Archived from groups: alt>apache>configuration, others (more info?)

Hi all,

Sorry about the cross-posting, but I'm not sure who is going to be
able to help me out with this one.

As it stands, I have a HTC Wizard Phone (runs MS Windows PocketPC),
and I'm trying to get it to sync with my Exchange server.

I am proxy'ing in to the exchange web interface using apache. I have
created a self-signed SSL cert for Apache for security reasons.

What I *think* I need to do to get the phone syncing data with
Exchange is I need to export the self-signed cert to the phone, and
I'm not quite sure on how to do that one.

On the phone, I'm getting the MS Windows error 85010014 .

How do I extract the certificate from apache (self signed/self
generated) to the phone, or how do I just extract it in the first
place?

Thanks

mel

Hi,
Take a look at http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/faqs/digital_certificates.htm

I suggest that you use your PC to extract the cert and install it on your
device.

Also, you may have to install the cert on the Exchange server as well.

Sincerely,
