Archived from groups: biz>ecommerce (more info?)

Hi All =),

I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice. I am an
unemployed A+ certified IT Tech and was wanting to set up a web-based
business to hold me over until IT comes back in style =). I was
wondering if anyone could give me some advice on doing this. Such as
what wholesale suppliers are out there, if it's better to start with a
wholesale supplier selling their products on ebay than setting up a
website and marketing it?? I checked out onlinesuppliers.com but not
happy with their selection of products. I've been interested in doing
this for a while now, and finally have the free-time to invest in it
lol. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks =)

Rob

I am a Unix systems administrator. And I have experienced the same problem
so to speak. You should try different companies that "drop ship" That is
the key phrase. To find a good company that will drop ship will all you to
setup a shopping cart and never have to deal with stock in your garage or
shed.

I have branched out in several directions. (Waste of time) Try to
focus...(I suppose I am projecting my flaws on you...sorry) It has taken me
over year to figure out exactly what I want to do...

If you have specific questions about certain deals...I can let you know if I
have had experience with them...simply e-mail me or post it here...I check
biz.ecommerce about once a week.

Good luck and don't really plan on working for a corporation any time
soon...you are doing the right thing starting your own business.

Glasco--
your link below does not work... (onlinesuppliers.com) Could you check it
and send it in the reply, pls?
