If you want to have a site that you want to do commercial transactions on
then I think you need a fixed IP address. A fixed IP address has other
advantages over a shared one, but these may be less important such as being
able to do a reverse dns on the IP, and of course it allows your site to be
addressed by IP rather than by name. If none of that is important to you
then a shared IP address should be fine. A lot of sites used shared IP
addresses. Of the sites I look after the busiest uses a shared IP address.
