Here is a little situation that we are having on 2 of our
load balanced web servers, any help would be greatly
appreciated. When I view a page in http and then switch to
a https(secure) page I get bounced to the other web
server. This creates an issue because when the user logs
into the site it bounces them to the other server and they
lose their session. To test I use a simple page that is in
the root of the site and change the url from http to https
and I can see the issue. To fix the problem I restart the
w3 service and flush the cookies in my browser and the
problem is fixed for while. This occurs every few weeks.
By the way I am running Win2k Standard Server IIS 5.

What type of affinity do you have set for your NLB? You would want single. Also, what are you using for your load-balanced solution.

Thank you. I hope this information is helpful.
