Hi George,
Thanks for posting!
For the current issue, as far as I know, if the new account is working
fine, we can delete the old account normally.
To check whether the new account is working correctly, I suggest you follow
the steps as below:
IIS:
1 Input the ¡°inetmgr¡± in the ¡°Run¡± dialog;
2 In the IIS MMC, Expand the ¡°local computer¡± node and the ¡°Web Sites¡±
node;
3 Right click the ¡°Default Web Site¡± and choose ¡°Properties¡±;
4 In the ¡°Directory Security¡± tab, click the ¡°Edit...¡± button;
5 Check whether the new account has been used in the ¡°User name¡± text box.
COM+ Service:
1 Input the ¡°dcomcnfg¡± in the ¡°Run¡± dialog;
2 In the Component Services MMC, Expand the ¡°Component Services¡± ¨C
¡°Computers¡± ¨C ¡°COM+ Applications¡±;
3 Right Click the ¡°IIS Out-Of-Process Pooled Applications¡± node and
choose ¡°Properties¡±;
4 In the ¡°Identity¡± tab, Check whether the new account has been used in
the ¡°User¡± text box.
If all seems to work fine, please delete the old account in the ¡°Computer
Management¡± tool. I hope the information will be helpful. If you have any
issues or concerns, please let me know. It¡¯s my pleasure to be of
assistance.
Regards,
