Post subject: School newsletter hosting
Archived from groups: alt>www>webmaster (more info?)

I am hoping to create a website for schools in my area. The purpose of
the site is to allow students to sign up to a mailing list. Schools
would then use the list to direct newsletters to their students. Each
school would only be able to send the newsletters to their own
students only. So a batch of mail could be to a small class but then
again it could be to every student in one school.

I would appreciate some advice on server hosting for this service. I
know that some hosting companies have very tight restrictions on
mailing lists in order to avoid spamming. I have enquired with one
host who would carry my site but with a limit of 150 newsletters per
hour. I would need a much more flexible solution. Can anyone suggest a
reasobaly priced and reliable host which could meet my requirements ?

My expertise is in ASP and I would like to use a MySQL database for
this.
