I have XP SP1, and I do development on my localhost using ASP and SQLServer.
I use ZoneAlarm for my firewall.
I feel I should install XP SP2 and SQLServer SP3a.
Should I expect problems when I install SP2?

TIA

Tom

Hello,

IIS works correctly with Windows XP SP2. You may need to configure/disable
(since you have another firewall) XP's firewall after installation of SP2,
to get IIS to work satisfying.

I am not opposed to leaving the ms firewall enabled.
What will I need to re-configure in the ms firewall?
Is there some guidance on that?

The only thing you should need to do is open port 80. But, re-reading your
message, makes me think that you do not need/want remote access to the
webserver, so there should be no re-configuration necessary, because the
firewall is not involved in local requests.

Thank you!
