SMTP Error

Hello there,

I have installed Msoft. Proxy Server 2.0 on a Win2K server
machine.

In the Internet Information Services I can see the
Administratio Web Site, Default Web Site, Socks Proxy, Web
Proxy, Winsock Proxy and Default SMTP Virtual Server
services.

All of them are working (running) perfectly, except the
Default SMTP Virtual Server, which is the one I need for
the computers to be able to send emails through port 25,
and in its status says "The requested control is not valid
for this service". If I try to start this service I get
this message: "SMTP Configuration: The service did not
respond to the start or control request in a timely
fashion. Check the windows Event Viewer for details"

What can I do?, Internet Browsing, Messenger, telnet, ftp,
etc.. are working just fine, but I'm not able to send
emails through an email manager, because I cannot make
this service to start.

You can check the windows Event Viewer for details.
