Post subject: Require Login for Page
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

In the past I have used ASP code accessing a backend table listing
authorized logins and PWs but I have a page I'd like to setup with a single
general purpose login. I've seen pages where, when you access them the 1st
time, you get a MS type little login window (Login name and PW requested).
Where can I find information on how to do that?

This is IIS builtin authentication features.
