Removing a web

Hi,

I've created a subweb in IIS 5.0 by going to Action > New
 > Server Extensions Web, and now I want to reverse this
process. Unfortunately, restoring a previous
configuration is not an option.

I've tried removing the directory, but whenever I
run 'Check Server Extensions', it tells me "There is no
web named '/nnn'". Even if I add the directory back, it
gives me this error. Is there any way I can remove this
web?

If you have FrontPage, you could use that to delete it. Otherwise, look for
the file "services" (there's no extension on it) in the folder
\inetpub\wwwroot\_vti_pvt. Open it in notepad and delete the line that has
"/nnn" on it.
