howdy all,

Having installed SBS 2003 without sufficient prep time, I'm now facing lots
of little snags with a steep learning curve. One is: my OWA isn't working.
Doing some research on the problem showed me many suggestions to uninstall
IIS and Exchange and re-install them.

I did, albeit with a few glitches in my understanding of the procedure.
Exchange works fine, sends and receives for the users. OWA does not work at
all.

I went into IIS to take a look at the Exchange virtual website. If I drill
down to the Exchange site under Default Web Site, I find an issue in it's
Properties page. In the Application Settings box, the Application Name is
Exchange, which seems OK. However, in the Application Pool field it says
"<Invalid Application Pool>", and in the IIS menu, under Application Pools
there IS NO Exchange Application Pool!

Just ain't there. The only App Pools I have are DefaultAppPool and
MSSharePointAppPool.

I'm flummoxed. The Knowledge Base hasn't yet yielded anything on this
issue, so I turn to you, those experienced in Exchange and IIS under combat
conditions...

lil help?

Hi,

I would try the SBS 2003 newsgroup, microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs
since SBS configurations can be a bit more complicated
