I have an elementary question to you web authoring pros.
I use Netscape Composer to write my pages. I know how to link to a
graphic or text area within a page from within the same page. What I'd
like to be able to do is be able to link to a specific area within a
page from a different page. Presently all I can do is link from one
page to another but I want to be able to pinpoint a specified text
area or a graphic to link to from a different page. Is this possible
and if so, how? TYIA for any help you might share.

First you bookmark the place in the text you want to link to:

<a name="first"></a>

The hyperlink consists of the page and then the bookmark:

<a href="index.html#first">
