Hi,
I was wondering what experience people have with various payment gateways?
I'll do the shopping cart and all the forms on my site via ASP/ASP.net, then
submit the billing info via SSL to the "gateway" site, they process the
transaction and send the response back to my site.

The one that I found was www.skipjack.com -- their website seems to make
them appear decent and they constantly say they are one of the number one
companies, but that means nothing (any Tom, Dick or Harry could say that on
their site). On the other hand, monster.com uses them.

Any and all input would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Dan

Hello Dan,

I've worked with Verisign's Gateway: Verisign Pay Flow Pro, and found
it easy to impliment. We used their Java Classes and things seemed
very smooth. Their help desk seemed like it was staffed with people
right out of college, but were helpful.

Hope this help,

Tom

We were with skipjack, via EMS (one of their affiliates) and they were
good...however, they have an extremely low tolerance for chargebacks. If
you process 10s of 1000s of dollars in sales per month, you WILL have
chargebacks. We lost our account with them because of one $200 chargeback,
from someone who ran a chargeback rather than ask for a refund...because he
needed Windows hosting. Sad

Dan:
I can hook you up with an excellent Merchant Services package with
shopping cart, virtual terminal, secure transaction gateway etc.
Send me an email at open1.RemoveThis@enter-here.biz if you are interested. You can go
to my website and take a look at the basic promotional materials.
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.enter-here.biz" target="_blank">www.enter-here.biz</a> .
Please ask questions...this way I can get a better idea which products or
services you really need.
Are you selling a product?
Is this a new business or are you expanding an existing brick and mortar
onto the internet markets?
Do you have the website and hosting all set?
What about Search engine submission? Will you take the plunge and try
listing yourself or would you like to consider having us submit to up to 100
search engine spiders..including Yahoo, Infoseek,....?

My business is set up to help small businesses or startup home businesses
get online and making money using simple site building tools and a powerful
set of website management and merchant services. There is also a great deal
of marketing and training materials available as part of the packages we
offer.

Check it out and let me know what you would like to do next.

Dan:
Don't bother replying to my previous post email address...that account is
not mine.
